2020 Awards…Yes, there will be a few

With only one event this season you might think no awards would be presented this year. While the criteria for breed, discipline and competition awards does eliminate those, once the numbers are crunched, there may be awards for Worker Credits and Lifetime Distance Rewards for riders and horses. Also Art King will present the High Vet Score Award.

The Esau Lewin Award for Outstanding OCTRA Member will still be presented. This is a nominated award so please submit your nominations to the secretary.

And Stall of Fame or Honour Roll horse nominations should also be sent to the secretary.

Worker Credits

Volunteers working on rides, events or committees  may be awarded credits based on the task and duration as specified in the rule book. Awards are given at 200 credits (starting 2014), 500 credits, and each subsequent 500 credit interval. Workers may be non-members. Logged in users may view worker credits on the new Workers web page at the bottom of the Awards drop down menu.
