“ I have decided to tender my resignation and terminate my term on the OCTRA Directors early, and will not be standing for re-election February 22, 2020 at the Annual General Meeting. My resignation is effective immediately, January 12, 2020. I’ve concluded my time is better serviced as a member in good standing of the Association. I have confidence in our current Vice President to lead this Board of Directors in the best interest of the OCTRA membership.

As no other nominations for president were received by the deadline, nominations for president will be accepted from the floor at the AGM on February 22, 2020. A complete list of all nominations received for treasurer and director #3 will be posted here by January 24th as well as sent directly to all eligible members.

After two years of diligent work we have a beautiful hard cover coffee table book with over 930 people included in it’s 278 pages of treasured memories of photos, documents, articles, results, awards. It’s been a journey and the more information we uncovered, the more we found!

The first 40 orders were $50 (reg. $99) subsidized by Nancy Beacon as her gift to all the families of OCTRA.

2019 OCTRA Nomination and Election Process.

Plans are underway to hold the 2019 OCTRA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday February 22 once again at the Best Western Plus Cobourg Inn & Convention Centre. The election of two officers and one director is on the agenda. All nominations must be received by the Nominations and Elections Committee by December 24 (60 days prior to to the AGM). The Nominations and Elections Committee will publish personal profiles of all nominees by January 23 (30 days prior to the AGM).
