OCTRA 50th Book Supporters and Advertisers Needed.

Rose Danko and Nancy Beacon with Wendy Webb on the computer have spent the winter digging thru 50 years worth of archives finding an incredible number of OCTRA highlights to be shared in this beautiful coffee table book. The book at this point is over 100 pages, and will be available in soft and hard cover for the 2019 AGM. Two formats for “support” as well as advertising are being sought:

Thank You Tia!.

As many of you know, Tia, a.k.a Tina Kerst, has resigned all executive roles following a strong term as a member of the board of directors, secretary, and organizing chair of the recent Annual General Meeting. Tia always tackled more than most and always excelled. The board and members thank you for all your time and effort.

Accordingly, the position of secretary is now open.

The Pulse – May 2018 – The Yearbook Issue just Released.

Thanks go to Judy Durst (Editor), Rose Danko (Pulse Committee), and Kristen Howard (Production and Design) for this 79 page compendium. New Date: Aprilfest Endurance, May 19-20, 2018.

A message from Sue Downing, Ride Manager:

In a conversation with the forest manager, a decision has been made to postpone Aprilfest Endurance, which also means postponing the Training Clinic/Training Ride and the Lay Judge Clinic. Disappointing for sure, but is in the best interest of the forest and base camp. The new date is the holiday weekend in May, May 19 & 20.
