The committee will:
- research clarity for our questions/organizations regarding return to competitions
- what are the unknowns and possible solutions per scenario
- OCTRA competitions specific safety protocol to take care of our vets, volunteers, riders, supporters, while still maintaining care of our equine partners
- possibility of a small scale first event to implement the new protocols
- supporting our event managers while keeping costs controlled
- and other topics as they are discovered
The committee has their first meeting this Thursday May 21st and the committee chair Pauline Fleming invites you to email her any Proactive ideas, questions or input you may wish to share (at any point during the process). PaulineFleming123@gmail.com

Members will be informed with ongoing updates and drafts in progress will be shared so
everyone has an opportunity to stay informed and provide ideas that may not appear to be
included.

We appreciate this is a tough time (everyone has many other challenges going on beyond not being able to compete) and we appreciate conversations are required to shift to a position of confidence and readiness. And timing will be different for each of us.
